Introduction
Welcome to another MonkeyBarGaming post, today I will be showing you all my top 5 Nintendo 64 games. Sit back and enjoy as I count down my top 5 personal list.
Number 5
To start of, we have Mario Tennis 64. This game was the second Mario Tennis, after the Virtual Boy version which was a miss for Nintendo.
The game has some great graphics for it’s time and some beautiful soundtracks that get quite enjoyable at times. It was released on the 21 of July 2000 as a late title for the Nintendo 64.
Number 4
Moving along, we have Mario Party 2. Although this game could get pretty harsh at times it had a very unique dynamic to it. The mini games were quite fun and different compared to the other Mario Parties I had played.
The game itself sold over 2.48 million copies. It really was and still is a big success in the Mario Party franchise.
Number 3
Next up, we have Mario Kart 64. This game was the second Mario Kart and the first in 3D. Most of the power-ups were the same as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Mario Kart.
The game has various courses ranging from sharp turns and opened areas. In my opinion Moo Moo Meadows is a real classic!
Number 2
At number 2, we have The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time. This Nintendo 64 Title is a very nice addition to the system. It has numerous tasks you have to complete but when finishing them it’s very rewarding.
I found the controls very easy to pick up and the game runs very smoothly which makes it number 2 on my list.
Number 1
Last but definitely not least, we have the Super Mario 64. This game can never get old, I have completed it more than 2 times because of how captivating it is. The levels can get hard at times but it makes you quite persistent.
I really personally enjoyed the soundtracks for the game. The boss fights are really cool because you get to pick up Bowser and throw him away. This is a very unique and wonderful game and that is why it’s number 1 on my list.
