Top 5 Nintendo Wii Games

Introduction

Welcome to another MonkeyBarGaming post, today I will be showing you all my top 5 Nintendo Wii games. Sit back and enjoy as I count down my top 5 Nintendo Wii Games personal list.

Number 5

Wii Sports

To start things off, we have Wii Sports. Wii Sports is a game where anyone can play, the controls are very easy to pick up and the game play is smooth. In this game you can play tennis, baseball, golf, bowling and boxing.

There is also an additional mode where you can play a range of mini games based on the sports I just mentioned. This game alone was also one of the best selling games for the Nintendo Wii.

Number 4

Next up, we have Mario Kart Wii. This game has some breathtaking views in addition to a wide range of power-ups. In my opinion Wario’s Gold Mine was the best map, it has many secret paths and huge slopes.

The game itself was released on the 10th of April 2008. There’s also a steering wheel accessory that holds your Wii mote.

Number 3

New Super Mario Bros Wii

Moving along, we have New Super Mario Bros Wii. This game was the first New Super Mario Bros I had played and I loved it. I had a blast beating the because of how unique it was compared to it’s other franchises.
I also really enjoy unlocking all the secret canons it gave the game more adventure. The multiplayer mini games weren’t as good but the overall game was spectacular.

Number 2

Super Mario Galaxy

Next on the countdown, we have Super Mario Galaxy. I really enjoyed the hub world in this game, It never got boring. The levels are magnificent and the power-ups are outstanding. The bee suit was strange but unique in it’s on way.

The only power-up I didn’t like was the spring suit. In every level that involves the spring suit I tried to avoid it, which made game play much more interesting. The music is catchy and it gets stuck in your head a lot of the time.

Number 1

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Last but most definitely not least, we have Super Mario Galaxy 2. This game was very tough to choose for number 1 on the list compared with the first game. In Super Mario Galaxy 2 the levels are astounding and the graphics are beautiful for it’s time, the game also features some really solid orchestra soundtracks.

In the hub world there is Yoshi, a power-up room, a mini game room and a toad ship with captain toad who gives you a 1-up. The game offers 244 stars to collect and a very hard Champions Road level at the end.

Still to this day I have not beaten that level which gives me a challenge every day to complete it. Super Mario Galaxy is my number 1 game for the Nintendo Wii.

Conclusion

While the Wii is officially 13 years old it still remains a popular console and one I grew up with and helped get me into gaming, if you still own a Wii I hope you found my post interesting.
